After nine months offering triple gigs in a promotional way,  Movistar  will respond to its rivals with a  definitive improvement in prepaid card rates from February 1, 2022 , which will be applied without additional cost and automatically to new and current users.

Movistar will finally stop limiting the free minutes of its three main rates to between 40 and 150 minutes, and you will be able to enjoy  unlimited national calls . In addition, international minute bonuses are added that will be used to  speak free of charge with 45 countries  , among which are:

Germany, Algeria, Argentina, Austria, Belgium, Bolivia, Brazil, Bulgaria, Chile, China, Colombia, Denmark, Ecuador, El Salvador, United States, Finland, France, Gibraltar, Greece, Guatemala, Holland, Honduras, Hungary, India, Ireland, Italy, Morocco, Mexico, Nicaragua, Noreuga, Paraguay, Peru, Poland, Portugal, United Kingdom, Dominican Republic, Romania, Russia, Senegal, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine, Uruguay, Venezuela and Pakistan.

More specifically, the rate of 10 euros includes  200 international minutes  while for 15 euros you can talk  400 minutes  with other countries. The 20 euro rate will not include calls to other countries.

Regarding the gigs included, the Prepaid Plus rate will go from 7 to  10 GB , Prepaid Premium from 15 to  20 GB  and Prepaid Total, from 25 to  35 GB . Conditions that are practically traced to those of Vodafone, Orange and Yoigo, although  Movistar seems to be the only one to resist giving access to 5G .
