If you are a customer of the orange operator, the mobile rate you have contracted is valid both in Spain and when you travel to any country in the European Union, Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein thanks to Orange roaming. Within the countries that make up the list was the United Kingdom, and what had become a mere possibility, now materializes. If you are from Orange you will no longer have free roaming when you travel to the United Kingdom.

Due to the departure of the United Kingdom from the European Union, from April 24, 2022 the contracted national rate will not include roaming calls or navigation when traveling to the United Kingdom. Orange and Jazztel have decided to stop including this service in all their rates.

Therefore, Orange and Jazztel customers who plan to travel to the United Kingdom from next month and want to use their mobile phones will have to pay to surf the Internet, call or send SMS. The prices established by the teleco are the following:

Calls will cost 0.08 cents per minute with a call setup of 25 cents
Sending SMS will cost 21 cents.
Connecting to the Internet will be priced at 0.08 cents per MB. Practically about 10 euros per GB consumed.
Prices do not include VAT and exclude special or additional rate numbers.

In addition, to avoid abuse of the service, it must be taken into account that some rules are set that limit the very intensive or permanent use of roaming. It is verified that the following conditions are met:

«The consumption of data in roaming in the EEA or in the United Kingdom* (this country until 04.23.22) is greater than the consumption in Spain.»
“The number of days of exclusive roaming presence in the EEA or in the United Kingdom* (this country until 04.23.22) is greater than the number of days with presence in Spain.”
